888i and the Play Store: the rule, not the rumour
A steady stream of searches around this name mentions a store, most of them Google's. One of them even asks for a Play Store login, which is two different accounts fused into one question.

The useful answer here is about policy, and it comes with a caveat that most pages skip.
888i
The caveat first
A storefront looks different depending on where you are standing. What appears in Google Play in India is not what appears from Europe, and a listing opened over a connection that exits in another country shows that country's shelf.
We are not going to tell you that a particular app is or is not in the Indian store, because we did not look at the Indian store from India. Pages that state it flatly usually looked from somewhere else. That is a real mistake with a real history — the same error has produced confident claims about app availability on other subjects.
So: the rule, which is checkable, rather than the observation, which is not.
888i
The rule
Google Play permits real-money gaming applications only in a listed set of countries, and only from developers who have applied for and received approval for that specific category and country. It is not a general permission. It is per-developer, per-country, granted on application.
Underneath that sits the condition that makes the rest moot: the activity has to be lawful where it is offered.
Money play online has been banned across India since May 2026. The ban names three activities in their own right — running such a game, advertising one, and moving the money for it — and it does not sort formats into skill and chance, so rummy, lottery and card games sit inside it with everything else. The statute.
Put those together and the conclusion follows without needing to look at anybody's storefront: the store condition for this category in this market is not satisfied.
888i
What that implies about the results you are seeing
If a search for this name and the Play Store returns something, it is worth asking what.
A listing for a different app with a similar name. App names are not unique, and store search is fuzzy.
A page that looks like a store listing but is not one. Screenshot, rating stars, install button, a different host entirely. The address bar settles it in a second. Reading a host.
A page offering a file instead. This is the common case, and it is why the word apk outweighs the word login by two to one across this whole group. What that file is.
A page about the Play Store account rather than the app. The phrase 888i game play store login is people fusing two sign-ins. Your Google account is not a gaming account, and no gaming site needs it.

Why "not on the store" is not automatically a verdict
Worth saying plainly, because the opposite claim is the one usually made.
Plenty of legitimate software sits outside platform stores: internal business tools, regional applications, anything a store's rules exclude on grounds that say nothing about how well it was built. Absence means the conditions were not met. By itself it does not mean the software is hostile.
What it does mean is that the review, the signing and the ability to withdraw a bad build all move elsewhere — in practice, to you, at the install screen. That is the genuine consequence, and it is enough on its own without inflating it.
888i
What we could not establish
Whether any app under this name is or has been listed in the Indian Google Play store. We did not look from India, and we are not going to report a German or a British shelf as if it were an Indian one.
FAQ
Is 888i on the Play Store?
Not established by us, deliberately — see the caveat above. What is established is the policy condition, and it is not met for this category in this market.
Why is it not in the store if it is a real company?
Store presence is a function of policy and legality, not of whether a business exists. The prohibition on online money games in India answers this on its own.
Can I use my Google account to sign in to a gaming site?
Do not. A Google account is the thing that can reset most of your other accounts, which makes it the worst credential to spend on a site you cannot inspect.
Is an App Store version available?
Not found, which is not the same as not existing. The iOS entry.
